The Choir

The Choir is uncommonly strong for such a Parish – but always welcoming to visitors and new members! The purpose of the Choir is to enable and enhance worship, and the aim of its members is to enjoy singing together. Weekly Sunday morning services include a very wide variety of hymns; on special Sundays, the choir may sing an anthem; the major choral events are a traditional Choral Evensong on the first Sunday of each month, and festivals. Repertoire includes works from all periods. We enjoy the variety of experience gained from working with a small team of organists. Choir practices are on Thursday evenings, from 6.45 until 8pm, conducted by Martyn Williams. Ages span 8-80+ and current membership is about 20.
